 The Liturgical Year 2007-2008

at

Church of the Good Shepherd

Liturgy at 7:45 AM
Our earliest Sunday Eucharist is our most traditional.
At 7:45, we always use
the Book of Common Prayer,
and we have only a small amount of singing—

usually a hymn and a few pieces of service music, accompanied by the piano.

Liturgies for the 9:00 &10:30 AM services

Our Sunday morning services at 9:00 and 10:30

both offer Holy Eucharist with music,

and church school downstairs for the children.
The 9:00 service is slightly shorter and simpler than the
10:30.

In a year of great stress within the Worldwide Anglican Communion,

we at Good Shepherd have decided to celebrate our connection

to Anglicans around the globe.

Throughout the coming year (which is also Good Shepherd’s fiftieth anniversary),

we will worship God with liturgies from Anglican churches

in Australia, England, India, Canada, Kenya, and New Zealand,

and so in some small way  “get to know” our Anglican brothers and sisters.
